This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all orders placed through handcraftedgoods.studio and is designed to comply with EU consumer protection law and Romanian regulations.

1. Shipping Information

1.1. Shipping locations

We ship worldwide, with delivery availability depending on destination and local courier coverage.

We currently ship to:

  • Romania
  • European Union countries
  • Selected non-EU international destinations, including:
    • United States & Canada
    • United Kingdom
    • Switzerland
    • Norway
    • Australia & New Zealand
    • Japan & South Korea

If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.

1.2. Processing time

All products are handcrafted.

  • Ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 2–5 business days.
  • Custom orders are produced on demand. Production times are communicated individually before order confirmation.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

1.3. Shipping methods & delivery times

Delivery times are estimates and begin once the order has been dispatched:

  • Romania: 1–3 business days
  • European Union: 5–10 business days
  • United Kingdom & Switzerland: 5–10 business days
  • United States & Canada: 7–14 business days
  • Other international destinations: 7–21 business days

Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays, customs processing, or peak seasons.

1.4. Shipping costs

We use flat-rate shipping by region. All shipping costs are displayed clearly at checkout before order confirmation.

  • Romania: €5
    Free shipping on orders over €100
  • European Union: €15
    Free shipping on orders over €200
  • United Kingdom & Switzerland: €25
  • United States & Canada: €30
  • Other international destinations: €35

Free shipping promotions apply only to the regions and order values stated above and do not apply to customs fees, duties, or taxes.

1.5. Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details, where available.

2. Customs & Duties

  • Orders shipped within the European Union are not subject to customs duties.
  • Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or local taxes.

Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

3. Returns & Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Law)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

3.1. Conditions for returns

Returned items must:

  • be unused and unworn
  • be in their original condition
  • include original packaging

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use or damage not caused by shipping.

3.2. Return procedure

Please include your order number. Providing a reason for return is optional. Return instructions will be provided by email.

3.3. Return shipping costs

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

3.4. Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued within 14 days
  • Refunds are made using the original payment method

Original shipping costs are refunded only where required by law.

4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • custom-made or personalized products
  • items made to customer specifications

These exclusions are in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • a description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item and packaging

We will assess the situation and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
