Made by hand. Built to last.
Our story started in 2020
Handcrafted Goods Studio began with a simple need and a quiet question:
Why is it so hard to find something that feels right — both in how it looks and how it’s made?
During the pandemic, while spending more time at home and thinking differently about objects we use every day, I was looking for a leather gym and travel bag — something practical, but with character. I couldn’t find the balance I was looking for between quality, design, and feeling.
So I decided to try making one myself.
That first attempt did result in a finished gym bag — and it also opened the door to a deeper interest in leather, materials, and the process of making things slowly, by hand.
Learning the craft
Since 2021, I’ve been working steadily to improve my skills — learning, experimenting, making mistakes, and refining techniques along the way. Leather became a material I enjoyed not just for its durability, but for how it responds to time and use.
Around the same period, I was drawn to painting — especially the pouring technique, with its organic movement and unpredictability. At some point, the question naturally came up: what would happen if I tried this on leather?
That moment marked the beginning of painted leather goods.
Functional art
Painting on leather introduced something new into the work. Each piece became not only functional, but expressive — shaped by color, movement, and material in ways that can’t be fully repeated.
Since then, I’ve been creating leather goods that balance everyday use with visual presence. Bags, wallets, and accessories designed to be carried, used, and lived with — while also offering something quietly uplifting to look at.
For a long time, these pieces were made only for family and friends.
As the work evolved, it felt natural to open the studio to a wider audience.
Why this studio exists
Handcrafted Goods Studio is built around the idea of functional art — objects that do their job well, but also carry a sense of care and expression. Each piece is made one at a time, in small batches, allowing space for decisions, adjustments, and variation. No two painted surfaces are exactly the same, and that’s part of the intention.
These are objects meant to bring a small moment of pleasure into daily routines — something useful, but also something that quietly makes you pause.
Made slowly. Chosen with care.
Today, the studio continues to grow slowly, shaped by the same principles it started with:
